Project 02 / In development

Yoink

Throw it in. Find it later.

Yoink is an iPhone app for everything you want to keep but not file. A thought, a to-do, a link or a voice note goes in with one tap. Yoink sorts it on its own, and when you need it again, you just ask.

01 / Three screensDevelopment build from June 2026, German interface, sample entries. The app now also runs in English.
  1. The capture screen: a text field, a microphone button and the latest entries below.

    1/3Capture

Type or dictate. No folders, no form to fill in.

  2. The stack: entries labelled as to-do, idea or reminder, with filters along the top.

    2/3Stack

Everything lands on one stack, already sorted into to-dos, reminders, ideas and notes.

  3. The ask screen: example questions and a text field for your own question.

    3/3Ask

Ask your stack in your own words, for example what that book tip was.

What Yoink does

01

One tap, then back to your day

Open the app or use the share sheet. Text, links and voice notes are saved straight away; the sorting happens afterwards.

02

It sorts itself

Each entry gets a type, a short title, and tags and dates where they fit. Reminders arrive as notifications at the right time.

03

Ask instead of searching

Questions are matched by meaning, not only by the exact words. Answers point to the entries they come from.

04

Where your entries go

Entries are stored on your iPhone. To sort, transcribe, search and answer, their text, voice recordings and attached images are sent through Yoink’s own server to cloud AI providers. A mode that keeps everything on the device is planned. Usage statistics never contain what you wrote, and you can switch them off.

Where it stands

Yoink is in active development and not available yet. It is being built for iPhone with iOS 26, with a companion app for the Mac.
